The two PROCIENCIA entities have different units of analysis and processing rules.

Agregación

Do not sum rows from different aggregation_level values.

TOTAL, YEAR, INTERVENTION, YEAR_INTERVENTION, STATUS, YEAR_STATUS and AGREEMENT are alternative aggregations.

Gender data are official aggregated values, not individual-level gender assignments.

The downloadable individual RENACYT file did not include sex.

Do not sum AREA categories to estimate total researchers.

One researcher may report more than one OECD area.
